Overview

DailyBio ("we", "us", "our") provides a daily biographical email and audio service. By subscribing, creating an account, or using our service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe in advance.
• You may cancel at any time from your Preferences page. Access continues until the end of the current paid period; no further charges apply.
• Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused periods where a genuine error or service failure has occurred.

Acceptable Use & Account Sharing

Your subscription is for a single user. Each DailyBio account is licensed to one individual and may not be shared with others. We monitor the number of devices used to access your account each day to protect against unauthorised sharing.

• Access from up to four (4) unique devices per day is permitted as fair use.
• If five (5) or more unique devices access your account in a single day, we treat this as account sharing.
• In that event, your account will be automatically suspended for 30 days. During the suspension you will not receive daily emails or be able to read or listen to biographies.
• Suspensions reset automatically after 30 days. If you believe a suspension was triggered in error, contact us and we will review your case.

This provision exists to keep the service sustainable for paying subscribers. Repeated or deliberate sharing may result in permanent termination of your account without refund.

Content & Intellectual Property

All biographies, audio recordings, images, and other content provided by DailyBio are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit any content without our written permission. Subscriptions grant a personal, non-transferable licence to read and listen for your own enjoyment.

User Conduct

• You agree not to reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our content or data.
• You agree not to share your login credentials or sell access to your account.
• You agree not to use the service for any unlawful or abusive purpose.

Service Availability

We strive to deliver your daily biography promptly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may pause, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance or events outside our control may occasionally delay emails.

Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms — including the account-sharing provision above — or that remain unpaid. Upon termination, your right to access content ends immediately.

Limitation of Liability

DailyBio is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
